2. Eligibility to Book
- Customers must be 18 years or above to make a booking.
- Children below 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- Guests must comply with local laws, tourism regulations, and marine guidelines.
3. Services Offered
We provide:
- Group Speedboat Transfers to Elephanta Island
- Private Speedboat Services
- Guided Elephanta Caves Experiences (where applicable)
Exact inclusions will be mentioned in the service description at the time of booking.
4. Booking & Confirmation
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of confirmation email/message.
- Customers must provide accurate personal details including valid contact information.
- Elephanta Voyages reserves the right to accept or refuse bookings at its sole discretion.
5. Pricing & Taxes
- Prices are clearly mentioned on the website / booking page.
- All prices are subject to applicable GST and government taxes.
- Prices may change without prior notice due to operational, regulatory, or seasonal factors however, customers will never be charged extra once booking is confirmed.
6. Payment Terms
- All online payments are processed securely via CCAvenue and/or approved payment partners.
- We do not store card details. Payments are encrypted and handled securely.
- Booking is confirmed only upon successful receipt of payment.
7. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
Customer-Initiated Cancellation
- Cancellation before 48 hours of departure ? Eligible for refund (as per policy mentioned on booking page).
- Cancellation within 48 hours of departure ? No refund.
- No-show or late arrival ? Non-refundable.
Rescheduling
- Subject to availability and management approval.
- Additional charges may apply.
Refund Timeline
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method.
- Transaction or gateway charges are non-refundable.
8. Weather, Safety & Government Restrictions
Marine operations are strictly weather-dependent and subject to:
- Coast Guard & Port Authority permissions
- Sea conditions
- Safety advisories
- Government or security instructions
In rare circumstances where services are:
- Delayed, Rescheduled, or Cancelled due to weather/safety reasons, customers may:
- Reschedule to another available slot or
- Request a refund (processing as per policy)
Customer safety is our highest priority.
9. Reporting Time & Boarding Rules
- Guests must report at least 15–30 minutes before departure.
- Late arrival may lead to denial of boarding without refund.
- Valid booking confirmation must be presented at the boarding point.
- Guests must follow crew & staff safety instructions at all times.
10. Health, Fitness & Responsibility
Guests confirm that:
- They are medically and physically fit to travel.
- Pregnant women, senior citizens, and individuals with medical conditions must consult a doctor before travel.
- The company is not responsible for any pre-existing medical condition or incident arising because of it.
11. Conduct & Behavior
We reserve the right to refuse boarding or discontinue service if:
- A guest behaves irresponsibly, dangerously, or against crew instructions.
- A guest is under influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
- A guest violates safety norms.
No refund will be provided in such cases.
12. Liability Disclaimer
While Elephanta Voyages ensures the highest safety standards:
- Travel involves inherent risks associated with sea travel.
- The company, its owners, employees, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for:
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Injury, accident, delay, or death caused by natural events or third parties
- Any indirect or consequential losses
Guests travel at their own risk.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be responsible for failure or delay due to events beyond our control including:
- Weather disturbances
- Natural disasters
- Strikes
- Pandemic situations
- Government restrictions
- Technical breakdowns
14. Intellectual Property
All content, images, brand assets, website material, and media belong to Elephanta Voyages / Sufiyan Mansuri Ventures and cannot be copied or reproduced.
15. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect customer privacy. Personal information is handled as per our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Indian Law.
Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
17. Modifications
Elephanta Voyages reserves the right to modify Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
